Susan began her career at Gimbel's Department Store in Pittsburgh, Pa. A family move took her to New York City, where she joined The May Merchandising Company, developing and sourcing private label programs for the May Department Stores. In this capacity, Susan developed the skills to merchandise and source product globally. She has traveled extensively during her career including Asia, Southeast Asia, Europe and the Mid-East. Susan was one of the first Americans to travel to the interior regions of China visiting factories and developing product.
During Susan's career with the NFL, she launched the first successful women's NFL apparel line. She initiated and negotiated the NFL's sponsorship with the Susan B. Komen Race for the Cure. She also negotiated with the U.S. Department of Labor regarding the NFL's expectations regarding its licensing partners' monitoring of their factory conditions internationally.
As Vice President of Consumer Products, Susan oversees the licensing of all NFL team licensed apparel. She also is responsible for all uniform development and acquisition of practice wear and uniforms by the member clubs of the National Football League.
She is an active participant in the NFL's mentoring program.
Susan lives in Kent, Ct. with her husband, Marty, and their two dogs.
